Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play & Moto G7 Power Leaked: Moto G7 Plus Price in India

Motorola is all set to launch its seventh generation models of the hit G series. The >Lenovo-owned company is planning to launch four new models this year under Moto G7 lineup.

>Motorola One Power was the company’s last launch in India.

The new Moto G7 Power model will add to its “Play” and “Plus” variants of standard G series devices. The smartphone will come with mid-range specifications, >dual cameras and a huge 5,000mAh battery.

Moto G7 Lineup: 4 Models This Year!

Motorola will launch 4 new devices this year under Moto G7 series: Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power. The Power edition is going to be the latest one to join the hit Moto G series.

>Moto G6 came with a standard model, a Plus model and a Play version. Though this year it will add a Power version to the lineup.

All the Moto G7 models are expected to debut early next year, with an India imminent launch by the end of the second quarter of 2019.

Moto G7 & Moto G7 Plus: Specs & Features

Starting with the Motorola Moto G7, it will come in a new water drop styled notch. The G7 will come with a rear dual camera setup with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display. The Moto G7 Plus is also expected to come with a similar 6-plus inch display.

Both Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7 are said to sport a water drop notch in a 19.5:9 screen ratio with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The Moto G7 series will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack with a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

The Motorola Moto G7 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. While the bigger Moto G7 Plus will come with higher RAM running Snapdragon 660 chipset.

On the software front, both Moto G7 and Moro G7 Plus will run on stock Android, expected to ship with Android 9 Pie. Coming to the battery, the Moto G7 is expected to have a 3,000-plus mAh unit and Moto G7 Plus a 3,500-plus mAh battery.

Moto G7 Play: The CutOut!

The leaked images of Moto G7 Play reveal that the smartphone will feature a standard bigger sized notch much like Google Pixel 3 XL. The Moto G7 Play is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset.

There’s a single rear camera sensor at the back with a fingerprint sensor below featuring an “M” in the middle.

The smartphone will run on mid-range specs with the volume and power buttons on the right-hand side.

Moto G7 Power: 5,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 632 & Dual Cameras!

The company previously launched a Power editioned Motorola One running a massive 5,000mAh battery under Google’s Android One.

Motorola G7 Power is expected to run on Snapdragon 632 in two or three different storage versions varying from 2GB to 6GB of RAM with 32GB to 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will come with a rear dual camera setup being backed by a 5,000mAh battery supported by Motorola TurboCharge.

Also, the Moto G7 Power is going be taller and wider than the standard Moto G7 models. The FCC listing shows a bigger sized 6.22-inch notched display.

Moto G7 Price In India | Moto G7 Plus Price In India

The new Moto G7 price in India is expected to be around Rs 15,000. The smartphone will run Snapdragon 636 with a rear dual camera setup and a water drop styled notch like

Realme 2 Pro. There are going to be a couple of storage options priced around the same category.

But the bigger Moto G7 Plus price in India is expected to touch around Rs 20,000 this time. The smartphone will run Snapdragon 660 featuring a water drop notch display and dual cameras.

Moto G7 India Launch | Moto G7 Plus India Launch

The last >Moto G6 lineup was announced towards the end of April 2018, and it came to India during the late Q2. So don’t expect the Moto G7 India launch before April 2019 at the earliest. The Moto G5 models were announced at MWC 2017, so we may get a glimpse of the Moto G7 models at this year’s MWC at Barcelona.

The Moto G7 models don’t have any specific launch date. The Moto G7 Plus India launch will happen later after the launch of standard G7 models.
