Hard Rock Hotel – a reader review

Here is a review of Hard Rock Hotel’s club level by OI reader Billvack:

The club level on the seventh floor is the best value for a family with teenagers.

Breakfast in the morning consisted of oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, croissants, toast, cut-up fruit, a fruit bowl (consisting of apples, pears, oranges, and bananas), a variety of cereals, and milk, juice, and coffee. Also, the club lounge states their hours as being 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, but for early entry, they open at 6:30 am. We took advantage of that and made it to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter by 7:00 am.

During the day (’til 3:00 pm), snacks (chips, Doritos, etc.) Coke, water, and coffee are available.

The evening was party time. Every night, they had an assortment of cheeses and crackers and vegetables with a variety of dips. The hot food consisted of chicken wings, fried macaroni, cheese balls, chicken satay on a stick, meatballs, pot stickers, etc. Each night had at least two of these selections. Beverages included an assortment of white and red wines, champagne, and beer.

Closing was always dessert time, with fresh fruit and cream, ice cream, or lemon ice, plus an assortment of cookies.

Due to the fact that we had unlimited Express Passes included with our room, we could easily do breakfast, go to the parks, head back around 2:00 pm for pool time, then head off to the evening food lounge and be back to the park by 7:00 at an extremely leisurely pace.
